The first technical salon: the application of ultra-sensitive flexible tactile sensing technology in the field of artificial intelligence
In order to accelerate the transformation of innovative technology achievements and realize the connection between industry and technology, under the guidance of Bao'an District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the first technical salon event of the Southern Institute of Industrial Technology (hereinafter referred to as "ITRI") was held on the morning of May 27. It was successfully held in Conference Room 1801 of Jingang Building.
The first salon invited Guo Chuanfei, a long-term professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Southern University of Science and Technology and a national distinguished expert (youth project), to give a keynote speech on "Application of Ultra-Sensitive Flexible Tactile Sensing Technology in the Field of Artificial Intelligence". A total of more than 30 people including leaders and technicians from companies such as Chevening Technology, Huewang Animation Technology, Xinken Intelligent Electronics, Huinengtai Semiconductor, Hanxing Sensing Technology, Hyland Technology, Shigeng Technology, and Dawei Medical passed the line. First of all, Sun Dazhi, associate professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Southern University of Science and Technology and deputy dean of ITRI, delivered a speech for the event, and introduced the ITRI in detail from three aspects: unit situation, strategic layout and cooperation model.
Then, Professor Guo Chuanfei shared the latest research progress and industrial application exploration of flexible sensing. Professor Guo Chuanfei has been continuously exploring breakthroughs in the field of flexible sensing, and has always been committed to building the world's best flexible tactile sensors. He pointed out that the research team has greatly improved the sensitivity, response speed and recovery speed of the sensor through material and micro-nano structure control; the self-developed signal collection and conversion module has also greatly improved the speed of data collection and processing. This series of The flexible tactile sensor with biomimetic structure constructed by innovation has the highest sensitivity in the world so far, and most importantly, it has ultra-high pressure resolution, which can test the extremely small pressure changes applied on the surface of super heavy objects.
Finally, Professor Guo Chuanfei and the upstream and downstream enterprises of the flexible sensor industry chain discussed the difficulties in the industrialization of flexible sensors and how to rely on ITRI to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the industry, and finally open up the commercialization and industrialization of cutting-edge technologies. The interaction and communication were active and the atmosphere was warm. The guests expressed their opinions, brainstormed face-to-face, and sought solutions together.
In the next step, ITRI will continue to integrate scientific research resources represented by Southern University of Science and Technology, hold such type of technical salons on a regular basis, provide an exchange and interaction platform for the deep integration of technology and industry, and provide a platform for Bao'an District, Shenzhen City and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
